Dr Schulte is founder and Executive Director
of the Asia Pacific Nanotechnology Forum (APNF,
www.apnf.org), an organization for industry professionals
focusing on the facilitation of the commercialization
of Nanotechnology. Dr Schulte draws on over fifteen
years experience in Nanotechnology development
in Asia Pacific and USA. He served as Member
of the Advisory Board of the Nanodevice Manufacturing
Project of the Japan Science and Technology Corporation
(JSTC).
He served on the Commercial Advisory
Board of Capital Stage, a listed and now closed
Nanotechnology Investment fund based in Zurich.
He is also Director of nABACUS Pty Ltd
(www.nabacus.com), a Nanotechnology Investment
and Consulting House founded in Hong Kong, 2001.
He was co-founder and CFO of IndusMedia Pty Ltd
(India) and IndusMedia Inc. (USA, www.indusmedia.com)
(an internet and software development company,
1992-1996). Dr Schulte was recipient of the prestigious
Hitachi HIVIPS semiconductor research industry
award (Hitachi, Japan).
His technological foresightedness
and knowledge of the market is exemplified by
numerous Nanotechnology patents and published
books, and a permanent place in Who is Who
in the World. His intimate knowledge of
the Asian R&D development industry has made
him a frequent consultant to the Japanese semiconductor
device industry. Recently, he was appointed world-wide
coordinator of the Intelligent Manufacturing
Systems (IMS) initiative CCI n-ABLE Nanotechnology
in Manufacturing as well as Assessor of the NSW
State Government Australian Technology Showcase
scheme and has taken on a leading in the Australian
NanoBusiness Alliance. |
